Adrienne LaBombard
Manager - Workplace Health and Safety

Adrienne (Adi) LaBombard joined CME's Environment portfolio in September 2012 and in December 2013 was appointed to manage the Workplace Health and Safety portfolio.  

Previously Adi worked with the strategic policy team at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and brings a background in State and Commonwealth government policy, processes and legislation.  

Prior to relocating to Perth in 2008, Adi worked in Human Resources at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics and Psychology) from McGill University, Montreal and a Masters of Arts (Asian Studies) from Murdoch University.

In February, Adi will commence postgraduate study in Occupational Health and Safety Management to enhance technical knowledge and compliment previous experience in this area. 

Elysha Millard
Policy Advisor - People and Communities

Elysha Millard joined CME in November 2016 as a Policy Adviser in the People and Communities Portfolio. Prior to this, Elysha was employed as a health and safety consultant in the Western Australian resources sector and worked with companies to influence improvements in the management of their health and safety risks.

In her role at CME, Elysha works closely with CME members to develop policy on health and safety issues impacting the resources sector.

Elysha has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Western Australia and Graduate Certificates in Human Resources and Occupational Safety and Health from Curtin University.
 

Kane Moyle
Manager – Natural Resources

Kane Moyle joined CME in September 2011. In his role as Manager – Environment and Land Access, Kane is responsible for representing the best interests of the Western Australian resources sector in issues such as environmental approvals, mine closure and rehabilitation, carbon policy, sustainable development, Aboriginal heritage and Native Title.

Prior to joining CME, Kane spent six years with Recfishwest in the roles of Principal Policy Officer and Acting Executive Director. Kane has a wide range of experience in policy development, government advocacy, natural resource management and resource access issues. 

Kane holds a Bachelor of Science, Marine Biology (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.

Rowena Olsen
Manager - Eastern Region

Rowena Olsen joined CME in March 2017. Based in Kalgoorlie as the Manager - Eastern Region, Rowena is responsible for representing the best interests of the Western Australia resources sector through advocating and facilitating policy and program initiatives.

Rowena has previously worked in community engagement roles with not for profit organisations, both in rural Queensland and Western Australia. With a diverse marketing and customer focused background, Rowena's experience spans the retail, property and finance sectors. Rowena's more recent role was with St John Ambulance WA developing and implementing marketing strategies and initiatives.

After relocating to Kalgoorlie, Rowena joined the Goldfields Education Mining Industry Alliance Inc (GEMIA), helping build successful partnerships and programs that actively engage and inspire the Goldfields community in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Rowena holds a Bachelor of Arts (Tourism) from Murdoch University.
 

Denise Spalding
Administration Coordinator - CME Clearance Service

 

 

Denise joined CME at the Kalgoorlie office in May 2000 and began co-ordinating the CME Clearance Service in May 2014.

Prior to May 2014 Denise worked with the Gold Stealing Detection Unit on behalf of CME to provide Mines Security Services members with site access clearances.

Prior to joining CME Denise held various roles in the banking industry.

Erin van Noort
Manager - South West

Erin van Noort joined CME in April 2010 as Executive Officer for the South West region. Erin has previously worked in community relations role at the City of Bunbury, Cristal Global (Millennium) Chemicals, Iluka Resources and most recently at BHP Billiton's Worsley Alumina refinery.

Erin is based in CME's Bunbury office on a part-time basis and is looking forward to re-establishing CME's presence in the region.

Lauren Ward
Receptionist

Lauren Ward joined CME in August 2016.  In her role as Receptionist for CME, Lauren is responsible for meeting and greeting guests, managing switchboard, room bookings and catering.  Lauren also supports Accounts Payable and the CME Clearance Service. 

Lauren holds Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance – Instrumental, Flute) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2015.
