Dr Jade Nobbs is a highly qualified and experienced researcher, writer and educator who joined CME in September 2023 as a Policy Advisor within the Health, Safety and People portfolio. Dr Nobbs has a proven track record of conducting projects designed to enhance the wellbeing and functioning of individuals, organisations and communities. He has applied his skill in mixed methods research and evaluation to projects across a range of fields of knowledge, including education and training, employment and labour market issues, skilled migration, workplace culture and diversity, drug and alcohol policy, transition programs for young people with a disability, employment and training programs for Aboriginal people throughout Australia, and career development and capacity building projects in South Africa and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has also worked as an English teacher throughout regional and metropolitan WA, including stints in Northam, Esperance and Pinjarra.
Dr Nobbs possesses a Doctorate in Communication and Cultural Studies, which incorporates a groundbreaking study into the history and construction of modern western masculinity. He also possesses a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary).
