Jess Turner joined the Climate and Energy team in June 2024 as a Senior Policy Advisor. Jess brings 16 years of experience in the sustainability and integrated water industry, working across local and state government, as well as the minerals and resources sector.
In her career, Jess has guided organisations through new approaches to all things water, sustainability and climate change including corporate strategy, risk management, reporting, project management, energy, funding, policy, frameworks and change management.
Her previous roles include Senior Sustainability Advisor at Pilbara Minerals, Specialist in Corporate Strategy and Planning at Water Corporation, and Sustainability Manager at Lewisham Council in London, among others.
Jess holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Water Management from the University of Queensland and a double Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Anthropology) and Science (Environmental Biology).
