The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME) is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Walker to the position of Manager – Membership and Business Development.
Acting CME Chief Executive Nicole Roocke welcomed the appointment.
Over the past 18 months Amanda has been Communications and Stakeholder Relations Manager at the Australian Uranium Association (AUA).
“Amanda is an experienced stakeholder and communications practitioner. Working with the AUA has given Amanda a great insight into both the resources sector and member-based advocacy organisations,” said Ms Roocke.
Prior to working with the AUA, Amanda worked at Perth Airport planning for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and in a policy role with the Commonwealth Department of Energy and Climate Change.
“Amanda’s stakeholder and advocacy skills, along with her resource sector experience will make her a valuable addition to the CME team,” said Ms Roocke.
