After a hiatus of almost two years, the Goldfields Community Relations Forum restarted in late June. Community relations personnel from all mine sites across the Goldfields gathered to discuss relevant matters affecting the region, and additionally, the various sponsorship and community benefit opportunities available.
G E Business Register
The GE Business Register continues to grow, with close to 375 businesses now registered. These businesses are benefiting every day from increased visibility to suppliers and purchasers, and also from being able to register as a supplier to the mining industry and showcase their skills and capabilities to mining companies.
The Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI) is the dedicated resource looking after the Register and will help Goldfields businesses sign up and answer any of their questions.
