The Select Committee on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention has been holding public hearings following the release of its interim report on the Inquiry into Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. The inquiry will consider a range of strategic reviews of the current mental health system, and whether the recommendations are fit for purpose to address the fallout from bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The committee will review the findings of recent strategic review of the current mental health system, including the Productivity Commission Inquiry Report into Mental Health.
