CME was pleased to host Federal Member for Brand and Shadow Minister for Trades and Resources, Madeleine King, on a tour this month that took in BHP’s Nickel West Smelter, Northern Star’s South Kalgoorlie operations and Evolution Mining’s Mungari operations. Madeleine and her team got an up-close look at the complexities of gold and nickel processing and the uniqueness of the Goldfields.
Our Goldfields Esperance Business Register continues to gather momentum, with nearly 200 local businesses now signed up – improving their visibility to suppliers and purchasers, including mining companies in the Goldfields region.
