The Inspiring Girls Careers Forum is a unique careers event designed to showcase the resources industry to female secondary school students from years 10-12. Held annually at Optus Stadium, the event attracts 200 students accompanied by 30 – 40 teachers.

The Inspiring Girls Careers Forum sponsorship package includes:

• Opportunity to host an exhibition booth, promote your company and distribute branded materials to students.
• Opportunity for your company representatives to address students during the speed careering session.
• Complimentary morning tea for all attendees.
• A table of eight people consisting of:

– Two representatives from your company.

– Up to five students and one teacher from a WA based school.

Event Schedule:

9.00-9.30am: Registration/expo
9.30-10.45am: Guest speaker & activities
10.45-11.30am: Morning tea/expo
11.30-1.10pm: Guest speaker & activities
1.10-1.15pm: Event concludes

During the forum students will have the opportunity to:

• Hear inspiring, female, industry guest speakers.
• Participate in a fun, hands-on, resources related activity.
• Take part in a ‘speed careering’ session with multiple resource companies.
• Interact with industry representatives.

Participating in the forum will provide an opportunity to:

• Increase awareness of the range and diverse university and VET career pathways available in the resources sector.
• Promote the benefits and opportunities for females working in the resources sector.
• Build networks and mutually-beneficial partnerships between industry and school communities.
