CME notes the release of the Western Australian Government’s policy statement on greenhouse gas emissions and hopes that it will provide much needed certainty for major resources industry projects in WA.
Addressing climate change and reducing emissions is a global challenge. CME will continue to advocate for a nationally consistent approach that balances social, economic and environmental factors.
CME will further consult with our members about the policy statement and its impacts before making further comment.
