Blessings Masuku joined CME in November 2023 as the Goldfields – Regional Officer.
Prior to joining the CME, she was the Migration Agreement Officer at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, administering the Goldfields Designated Area Migration Agreement Program (DAMA). She also successfully coordinated the Goldfields Migrant Employment Program and the Migrant Settlement Program for the Goldfields Community Legal Centre for three years.
Blessings is a passionate advocate for multicultural communities and takes pride in representing her community through presentations at forums. She was a local speaker at the 2021 Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) conference, 2022 Women’s Leadership Forum, 2023 International Women’s Day events and at the Migration Institute of Australia’s 2023 WA Migration Conference.
Outside her CME role, she is a Board member of four local community organisations and participates in various stakeholder reference groups.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Management) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies and is now studying towards a Masters in Community Development.
