Natasha Mutch is the Manager of Media and Communications at CME and is responsible for protecting and enhancing CME’s brand positioning and policy narrative in the media.
Starting her career as a writer for a suburban newspaper, Natasha became a media advisor in federal politics before later becoming media advisor to the WA Deputy Premier and Minister for Health in the Barnett Government. Her corporate communications background in high-risk industries has equipped her with a depth of experience in crisis response communications and issues management.
Natasha’s portfolio experience includes energy, infrastructure, chemicals, health, planning, fisheries, water, intellectual property and tourism. In the energy sector, Natasha led the corporate affairs function for the National Offshore Petroleum and Environmental Management Authority, Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers, Synergy, and Essential Energy (NSW).
Natasha holds a Graduate Diploma qualification in Communications from Curtin University and an Honours Cognate degree in English Studies and Archaeology from the University of Western Australia.
