Mines Security Services Additional Membership

Our Mines Security Services (MSS) is an exclusive CME membership that provides Gold Stealing Detection Unit (GSDU), an investigative service, to the gold industry across WA. The GSDU has been in operation with CME since 1906.

The functions of the GSDU are:

SECURITY SERVICES: providing clearances, mine site visitations, education, inspections, security advice, training and security reviews aimed at the prevention of gold theft.
INVESTIGATIONS: response and investigation aimed at the detection, apprehension and prosecution of offenders involved in gold theft.
